Hello, If I have a 12V 40W solar panel , how many watts would it produce if I plug the output in a 120V AC inverter?
I want to know if anyone has one and has actually used it, if they have used it how long did it take to charge your phone and how much you got it for. Thanks
In other words, is it possible to power all of my appliances and household equipment with electricity from solar panels? Or will I still have to do business with th electric company?
I am looking to charge a Power Wheels battery via solar power. I was wondering how many panels I would need and how I should wire this. If I have a 12v battery that gives 9.5Ah how many will I need. Please tell me all calculations and wiring patterns. Thank you!
Please try and keep the cost of the panels to a minimum considering i only have approximate to spend on them
How to charge externally with DC volts?? and why there are 3 ports on battery ??
Trying to decide between a wood burner that heats the pool, or solar panels. Has anyone had any experiences with either and what are your opinions?
I have a digital security camera that runs on 6 AA batteries, battery life is an issue so the the manufacturer also sells a 12V solar panel that can be hooked into the camera and recommends using AA rechargables. I would like to hook-up a 12Vbattery because the solar panel won’t work for me. Will the 12V over charge and burn out the AA batteries? Thanks.
Would like to add a solar panel to help charge my car battery. Will this affect/hurt my alternator? Do I need to switch from alternator to solar.
I was hoping to leave the panel attached to the car during operation.
I’d like it as easy as possible.
I have 4 20 watt Monocrystalline solar panels and 1 50 watt panel. Today before I installed the 50 watt solar panel I checked my voltage. I found that I get 173.9 volts and from the solar control it goes down to 27.6. My solar control is a PWM type. So how does this work. I was told that the batteries work best of they are charged at a slow rate but what about that loss of energy that is not used? Is it possible to connect a separate cable to use to charge the batteries and another one for powering up things? or should I invest in a MPPT solar controller?
This is my solar control.
